John and Eric Smyth Travelling Scholarship
Scholarship Description
The Melbourne Graduate School of Education invites applications for a scholarship to support young graduates to further the contribution to their profession through study or research overseas. Candidates must meet all of the following criteria to be awarded the scholarship: Hold a degree from University of Melbourne and the secondary teaching qualification from the University of Melbourne which has replaced the former Diploma of Education (most recently until 2007 the Grad Dip Ed); Have shown skill as a teacher or lecturer (including from the practical part of their course); Have displayed ability or research in the field of Education (or hold Master’s Degree in Education from University of Melbourne); and be able to enrich the teaching profession and the school by study abroad. Refer to attached PDF for full details. Eligible applicants should complete a Scholarship Application form which is available from Melbourne Education Student Centre and submit it to Mr Andrew Beart.
