The MAWA Trust Doctoral Research Scholarship

Scholarship Description

The MAWA Doctoral Research Scholarship was established with the specific intention of encouraging new scientists to advance the development, validation and application of non-animal methods in medical research. The recipient of the Scholarship will receive an annual stipend of $22,500 and approved expenses up to $2,500 each year for three years in the pursuit of a research program leading to the award of the degree of Doctor of Philosophy. Funding will not be made available simply in support of non-animal research per se. Award of the Scholarship is contingent upon the proposed research program being consistent with the stated aims of the Trust. Payment Information

The value of this scholarship is AUD25000 (per annum). This award is to be used for living expenses. This scholarship is paid quarterly for the period of 3 years.
