The Roger Pysden Memorial Fellowship
Scholarship Description
The Roger Pysden Memorial Fellowship is a grant offered to Australians employed/studying in manufacturing disciplines to undertake an overseas study opportunity or an investigative project that will benefit the future competitiveness of Australian manufacturing. The Fellowship is designed to foster the development of an innovation and learning culture in Australian manufacturing & to assist selected applicants to gain first hand experience in world class manufacturing processes and technologies. Eligibility: Australian citizen or entitled to permanent residency; employed in an Australian based manufacturing company or studying manufacturing or a related discipline (eg. engineering, biotechnology, food science, physics, computer science); take leave from study or work to travel prior to the end of the 2008/09 financial year; prepare a written report in conjunction with NSW Business Chamber, to communicate the findings of the research.

The value of this scholarship is AUD6000 (total amount). This award is to be used for travel. This scholarship is paid as a one off.

This scholarship is for one of the following fields of research: Biotechnology, ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY, Industrial biotechnology and food sciences, INFORMATION, COMPUTING AND COMMUNICATION SCIENCES, Manufacturing engineering or PHYSICAL SCIENCES.
Eligibility
This scholarship is for study in countries except Australia. Only citizens of Australia or permanent residents can apply.
