Scholarship Description
The University of New South Wales Eureka Prize for Scientific Research is sponsored by the University of New South Wales. The prize is awarded for outstanding curiosity-driven scientific research that is judged to be under-appreciated by the Australian public. Judging criteria for the University of New South Wales Eureka Prize for Scientific Research will include: originality of research; employment of a conceptual or investigative approach not normally used in the field of research; rigour of the research program, and the probability that the contribution will lead to a significantly new investigative approach to problem-solving in the field of research. This scholarship has closed for 2008. Details for 2009 will be updated later in the year.

This scholarship is for study in Australia. You must be below the age of 40. Only citizens of Australia may apply.
