Centre for Applied Philosophy and Public Ethics (CAPPE)
Two, three-year postgraduate research scholarships are available to domestic applicants for study at the Charles Sturt University (CSU). CAPPE-CSU will be located from 2012 on the Barton Campus of Charles Sturt University, which is in Canberra, ACT. Research may be undertaken in any area of applied philosophy, including political violence, biotechnology, information technology and nanotechnology, criminal justice ethics, business and professional ethics, environmental ethics and global justice. CAPPE CSU professors include Seumas Miller, Tom Campbell, Kit Wellman, John Kleinig, John Weckert Igo Primoratz, Clive Hamilton, Steve Vanderheiden and Gerhard Øverland.

This scholarship is offered dependent on funds to 2 people. Open for applications from October 10, 2011 until February 1, 2012.
The value of this scholarship is AUD23728 (per annum). This award is to be used for living expenses. This scholarship is paid fortnightly for the period of 3 years.
This scholarship is for one of the following fields of research: PHILOSOPHY AND RELIGION, POLICY AND POLITICAL SCIENCE or SOCIAL SCIENCES, HUMANITIES AND ARTS - GENERAL. It is required that your study starts no earlier than January 26, 2012 and no later than March 26, 2012.
This scholarship is for study in Australia. Only citizens of Australia or New Zealand or AUS permanent resident can apply.
