Scholarship Description
The Complex Systems in Biology research group at the University of New South Wales, Sydney, is seeking a PhD student with a strong undergraduate record to commence a PhD in computational biology / bioinformatics. A student with a background in bioinformatics, computing science, mathematics, statistics, physics, biology, or other scientific field, are sought to work on projects aimed at understanding immune responses to infectious diseases. No prior experience in biology is required – just a strong quantitative background and a willingness to learn new ideas.
