PhD Scholarship in Animal Breeding - AGBU
Scholarship Description
The project is aimed at investigating aspects of sow feed intake and its impact on reproductive performance and logevity. Extensive data collection includes measures for feed intake as a gilt and lactating sow, repeated measures of sow body weight&composition, with measures for production&reproductive performance.Data on ambient temperature and physiological status are also collected.

This scholarship is offered once only to one person. Open for applications from June 11, 2007 until August 10, 2007.
Payment Information
The value of this scholarship is AUD28000 (maximum per annum). This award is to be used for living expenses. This scholarship is paid fortnightly for the period of 3 years.
Research Information
This scholarship is for one of the following fields of research: Animal production or Genetics. It is required that your study starts no earlier than August 10, 2007.
Eligibility
This scholarship is for study in Australia for those who have achieved Honours 1 (Semester 1), Honours 2a or equivalent, or Masters or equivalent.
