Faculty of Nursing International Postgraduate Research Scholarship
Scholarship Description
Applications are invited from overseas applicants who satisfy the conditions of entry for a PhD in the Faculty of Nursing, including evidence of an IELTS score of 6.5 at time of application, and have a research topic from one of the areas of research strength evident in the Faculty of Nursing and the associated Research Centre for Clinical Practice Innovation (Practice Development and Evidence Based Practice, Health Services or Nursing Education); demonstrate evidence of refereed publications or/and research experience. Applicants will not be eligible if they hold a PhD degree deemed the equivalent of an Australian PhD degree. Scholarship pays fees, academic charges and overseas health cover.

Availability
This scholarship is offered once only to one person. Open for applications from July 1, 2004 until January 31, 2005.
Payment Information
The value of this scholarship is AUD14640 (maximum per annum). This award is to be used for fees. This scholarship is paid as fees only for the period of 3 and a half years.
Research Information
This scholarship is for one of the following fields of research: Nursing. It is required that your study starts no earlier than January 1, 2005 and no later than June 30, 2005.
Eligibility
This scholarship is for study in Australia for those who have achieved Honours 1 or equivalent. Only citizens of countries except Australia and N.Z. may apply.
