Young Business Scholars in China Program
Scholarship Description
This Program in China encourages young Australian graduates to pursue a career in Australia-China business relations and to develop a lifetime of involvement with China. The Program is offered to young Australian graduates who have completed a tertiary degree in any discipline, who have some work experience and a proficiency in Mandarin that is sufficient for study and work in China. In 2007, the National Centre for Language Training is offering three places to successful applicants. The program includes: one month of intensive language revision in Beijing; one semester studying a business course at a leading university in Beijing; the payment of suitable student accommodation; a daily stipend appropriate for a Beijing student. At the completion of their study, Scholars are expected to organise a business internship for approximately six months with an Australian or Chinese company based in China. Payment Information
The value of this scholarship is AUD20000 (maximum per award). This award is to be used for accommodation, living expenses, travel and fees. This scholarship is paid fortnightly.
