Postgraduate Biomedical Research Scholarships
Scholarship Description
These scholarships are intended to support full-time postgraduate research studies leading to a PhD at an Australian university or institution. Scholarships are awarded for BIOMEDICAL RESEARCH on cardiovascular disease and related disorders. The annual stipend is $20,736 (non-medical graduates) and $27,489 (medical graduates). A departmental allowance of $1,340 p.a. will be paid to the administering institution. A thesis allowance of up to $860 is payable, upon application, in the final year of the scholarship. Scholars will receive $660 per year for conference travel, upon application.
